The Hutet class is the Cardassians biggest ship. Used in the Dominion War, it reaked havoc with Federation cruisers with its emense size, power, strength and weaponry. The Hutet is armed with 4 forward torpedo launchers, with 4 at the rear also. It also carries multiple phaser arrays. Its hull is very strong and it benefits from the most up to date Cardassian shields.

The Galor Class Heavy Cruiser is the primary front line warship of the Cardassian armada. The Galor Class has been in service since 2320, and hundreds of these ships were built throughout the Federation-Cardassian Wars in the 2340s and 2350s. An improved variant was launched in 2373 as part of the military buildup the Cardassian Union experienced in preparation for war with the Federation. Hundreds of Galor Class ships saw extensive action throughout the Dominion War, and nearly two hundred were destroyed. The Galor Class is armed with eight spiral-wave disrupters, and four high yield photon torpedo launchers.

In 2360 the Cardassian military launched the Keldon Class Battleship, and upgraded variant of the Galor Class Heavy Cruiser. Bigger, faster, and more powerful, the Keldon Class is the most advanced ship in service by the Cardassian Union. In 2371 the Obsidian Order, the secret police and espionage service of the Cardassian government, began construction of a secret fleet of Keldon Class vessels, a violation of Cardassian law that forbids the Obsidian Order from having warships of its own. In 2374 full scale war breaks out between the Cardassian Union, which has allied itself with the Dominion, and the United Federation of Planets and its allies. The Keldon Class goes into full wartime production, and dozens of these vessels are used in combat. The Keldon Class features an improved reactor assembly, assault marine company, forward and aft torpedo tubes, and ten spiral-wave disrupters.

The Hideki Class Strike fighter is an omnipresent starship in the Cardassian Union and surrounding space. Utilized as a heavy shuttle (a similar role to the Federation Danube Class or Romulan Kestrel Class), a fast scout ship, and a strike fighter, these powerful ships saw extensive action during the Dominion War. The ship typically operates with a small crew of only 30 Cardassians, though the ship can be flown by only two individuals. The ship is cramped inside, with only three decks of space which are crammed with fuel and munitions. The Hideki is armed with a single forward torpedo tube and one facing aft, as well as eight forward pulse disrupter cannons. In addition, the Hideki is armed with a forward and aft firing spiral-wave disrupter, as the ship's secondary armament. The Hideki is capable of planetary landing, like most small Cardassian vessels.
